Job summary

Toppan Packaging Americas in Elk Grove Village seeks an Electro Mechanic for days and nights shifts. You will perform proactive maintenance to keep TOPPAN products moving on schedule, reading blueprints, and diagnosing electrical/mechanical issues.

The role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, repairing drives and motors, maintaining pumps and chillers, and documenting work in CMMS. Willingness to rotate shifts, work OT, and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial maintenance and electrical/ mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and PLC systems.
• Maintain chillers, pumps, compressors, ink pumps, and glue pumps.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

Position: Electro Mechanic (Days & NightsShifts Available)Location: Elk Grove VillageShift: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM OR 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next, off every other weekend)Pay Rate: $37.43 – $39.85/hour (depending on experience) + ($2.00 shift differential if applicable)Summary DescriptionWhile reporting to the Plant Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing proactive maintenance tasks necessary to provide high-quality, efficient, and timely shipment of TOPPAN products.
