Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead electrification projects across the full lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning. You will own financial performance, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain customer satisfaction while interfacing with cross-functional teams and subcontractors.

Role requires strong leadership, ERP experience (SAP), and up-to-date security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager, directly leading full lifecycle delivery of complex Electrical and Automation systems projects.
• Experience in electrification-focused industries such as Marine, Offshore Energy, Utilities, Power Systems, or Process Industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and customers.
• U.S. Citizenship or eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and project execution.
• Remote work eligibility with occasional travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale electrification projects across all phases from order entry to installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and site activities to meet scope, cost, quality and schedule.
• Serve as primary customer interface, communicating clearly and managing expectations.
• Drive cross-functional teams with accountability and collaboration.
• Manage daily project operations and adapt to changing business needs.
• Monitor milestones and revenue forecasts for visibility and predictability.
• Own project financial performance including revenue, margins, cash collection and compliance.
• Lead regular reviews and progress reports with stakeholders and customers.
• Deliver structured communications such as kick-offs, status reports and risk assessments.
• Identify and resolve risks to safeguard customer satisfaction and project success.
