Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in marine, shipyard, or industrial electrical field.
• Ability to read and interpret marine drawings and/or blueprints.
• Proven experience testing and troubleshooting shipboard or industrial electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment and safe testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Test, verify, and troubleshoot shipboard electrical systems to ensure proper operation during construction.
• Perform circuit continuity verification and functional testing of power and lighting systems.
• Operate and interpret results from electrical test equipment (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, etc.).
• Test and validate high‑voltage systems including 480V and 4160V distribution equipment.
• Inspect and verify motor controls, transformers, power panels, switchboards, and PLC‑based systems.
