Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc., Long Products Division—Steel of West Virginia, is expanding and hiring Industrial Electricians in Huntington, WV. The role includes installing, adjusting, and repairing mill electrical and automation equipment, and troubleshooting AC/DC motor drives.

Compensation includes a pay range of $70,000 to $175,000 per year, weekly incentive bonuses, and semiannual profit sharing. Benefits include health insurance premiums for single and family plans.

Qualifications

• Industrial experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and analyze electrical problems.
• Thorough knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting and knowledge of AC & DC drive installation, programming and troubleshooting is a must.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ability to install, adjust, modify and repair all mill electrical, electronic, automation and drive equipment as required by Supervisors/Managers.
• Demonstrate successful electrical troubleshooting experience, including instrumentation and AC/DC motor controls.
• Other duties as required.

The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions for Industrial Electricians.

Every 350 hours you successfully complete during your probationary period (Total of 1,050 hours) you will receive $1.00/hr. increase.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $175,000 per year

We also offer a weekly Production Incentive Bonus and a Profit Sharing Bonus twice a year (April and October) - cash payment. Our health insurance plan premiums: $90.00/month - SINGLE and $200.00/month - FAMILY!!!
