Allied Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician/Service & Small Projects to join our team. As an Electrician/Service & Small Projects, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. If you have a background in electrical work and are proficient with hand and power tools, we encourage you to apply.

We focus on the Commercial and Multifamily markets for our customers, with projects ranging from trouble calls to large projects. Allied Electric has been an established electrical contractor proudly serving Texas and Louisiana since 1975.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems
• Repair or replace faulty components or parts
• Install new equipment or systems according to specifications
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Experience in the commercial electrical field with a current State of Texas Electrical Journeyman's License
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation and possess the appropriate hand tools
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Additional Information:

• Pay will be based on experience, type of electrical license, assessment, and other prescreening tests
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM, with some overtime for emergencies
• No work outside Houston and surrounding areas when hired at this location
• Company vehicle provided contingent on driving record
