Responsibilities

• Assist project management, sales, and engineering in installing project deliverables.
• Assist with pre-wire, retrofit, and trim phases; install branch circuits, lighting control devices, fixtures, panels, surge protection, and smart home devices.
• Provide project leadership alongside the project manager.
• Be available for occasional weekends, evenings, or overtime; travel locally and occasionally overnight.

Job description

The function of the Electrician is to assist project management, sales, and engineering in the installation of project deliverables within budget and on‑time. This individual is experienced in the field of residential electrical work and has a strong knowledge of electrical concepts and techniques. Daily/weekly tasks include, but are not limited to assisting as needed with pre‑wire, retrofit, and trim project phases as well as installation of branch circuits, lighting control system devices, lighting fixtures, panelboards, surge protection systems, and other smart home related devices.

This role is for a motivated and experienced individual on our ever expanding electrical team. This individual should have a positive attitude, work well on a team, communicate effectively, be organized and adaptable as well as provide project leadership alongside the project manager.

This role may require working the occasional weekend, evening, or overtime from time to time. Travel distance, while generally local, does vary and occasionally requires overnight commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

• Use of hand and power tools in both new construction and finished residential environments
• Ability to work on electrical and/or AV installations
• Problem solving, troubleshooting, and creative thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self starter who is highly motivated and dedicated to driving project completion alongside the team

Required Experience/Education:

• 2 or more years experience as a residential and/or commercial electrician
• Solid working knowledge of residential electrical systems
• Work experience in construction environments
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Certifications:
