Job summary

A 1 PLUS ELECTRICAL in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled Electrician with experience in both low voltage and high voltage systems for residential settings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy renovating and building, and thrive troubleshooting electrical networks while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance with code requirements.

You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot with meters and diagnostic tools, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential electrical environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and circuitry.
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in the trade.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Certification as a wireman or Journeyman is required.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in Residential setting
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Operate power tools and other equipment necessary for electrical installations
• Collaborate with Sales Technicians to ensure effective and efficient completion of jobs
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and circuitry
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in the trade
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
