Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance team. You will perform electrical repairs across tenanted and vacant properties across Blackburn, Clitheroe, Rossendale and Pendle, delivering quality service and Right First Time outcomes.

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations (or equivalent), BS7671 knowledge, and an appropriate inspection/testing qualification, plus a valid UK driving licence. A company van is provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification – NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 requirements for Electrical Installations.
• Inspection, Testing & Certification qualification – City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 or equivalent.
• Full UK Manual drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties in line with job tickets and specifications.
• Aim for Right First Time with one-visit repairs and high-quality workmanship.
• Organise work to minimise downtime and re-allocate tasks as needed.
• Assist in workload balance, standby or call-out rota as required by management.
• Diagnose and undertake repairs, obtaining approvals for more expensive or longer jobs when needed.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and work as part of a team to use time, materials and resources efficiently.
