Job summary

QCCI in New Holland, PA is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines equipped with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). The role also maintains non-PLC facility equipment and facilities according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, plus knowledge of manufacturing equipment, hand and power tools, electrical meters, and PLC concepts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical knowledge in manufacturing equipment and processes for preventive maintenance and problem correction.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and electrical meters.
• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Two years' manufacturing experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks is a plus.

The Maintenance Electrician is a technician responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines equipped with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC). The Maintenance Electrician also maintains non-PLC facility equipment and facilities according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of QCCIs business goals and objectives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED


• Sufficient Technical knowledge and expertise in manufacturing equipment and processes to conduct preventive maintenance and to identify and correct problems


• Able to use a variety of hand and power tools and electric meters.


• Valid PA driver's license.


• Two years' manufacturing experience or equivalent education is preferred.


• Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks, such as forklift, scissor lift, and bucket lift is beneficial.
