We are seeking an energetic Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and electrical systems, identify circuit locations, outlets, and equipment. Experience with hand and power tools, such as conduit benders, and the use of testing devices like ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers is required.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry using hand tools and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components with appropriate testing equipment.
• Use of ohm meter, volt meter, amp probe, and megger is required.
• Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for safety, code compliance, and proper operation.
• Advise management and customers on hazards and safety of electrical systems.
• Assist estimators with material take-offs, cost estimates, and labor allowances.

Experience, Competencies, and Education:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 7 years of electrician experience, with 5 years in commercial work.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Minimum of 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience.
• Knowledge of electrician standards and codes.
• Ability to work overtime and be on call as needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and collaboratively with others.
• Adherence to company procedures and maintenance of company vehicle.
