We are seeking an energetic Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to read blueprints and electrical systems, demonstrate experience with various hand and power tools, and use testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers to troubleshoot and ensure proper functioning of electrical components.

Essential Functions:

1. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry using hand and power tools.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using appropriate testing equipment.
3. Utilize testing tools such as ohm meters, volt meters, amp probes, and megger.
4. Install conduits, pull wires, and make final connections to circuit breakers.
5. Inspect electrical systems and components for safety compliance and proper operation.
6. Advise management and customers on hazards and safety of electrical systems.
7. Assist estimators with material take-offs, cost estimates, and labor planning.

Experience, Competencies, and Education:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of 7 years' electrician experience, with at least 5 years in commercial work.
3. Ability to pass background and drug screening.
4. At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience.
5. Knowledge of electrician standards and codes.
6. Ability to work overtime and be on call as needed.
7. Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
8. Ability to lift 75-100 lbs when necessary.
9. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
10. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and collaboratively with others.
11. Adherence to company procedures and maintenance of company vehicle.
