Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrician – Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Ensure Equipment Availability : By performing electrical maintenance and machine support tasks, you'll keep equipment operational and minimize downtime.

Education:
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience : Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience.
Additional Information:

Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.

  • Electrical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation activities

  • Become competent and proficient in PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired

  • Operate within a team‑based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development

  • Operates in a multi‑craft capacity, performs electrical and mechanical maintenance.
