Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrician Apprentice – Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Looking for maintenance technicians that understands maintenance is not just a job, but realize it is a career that requires continuous learning and growth.
• Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.
• Electrical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation activities
• Become competent and proficient in PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired
• Operate within a team-based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development
• Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude
• Support the maintenance organization with PMs and maintenance activities Experience in a manufacturing industry a plus
