We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 ( Electrical Code). You will work on diverse projects such as renovations, new constructions, and system upgrades, utilizing your knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and high-voltage wiring. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues within industrial electrical systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 and NEC standards.
• Install low voltage systems, control wiring, and automation components for commercial projects.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing devices to complete precise wiring tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems including high-voltage wiring and control panels.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 ( Electrical Code), NEC ( Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to electrical work.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and PLC programming interfaces.
• Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems for automation or communication purposes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety standards.
