Join Our Team as an Electrician Journeyman at Watt Acquisition, LLC

Edge Electric, a leading electrical contractor since 2009, is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team in Austin, TX. We specialize in high-profile commercial and industrial projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and innovation.

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems. Your responsibilities include executing wiring plans, installing electrical apparatus, connecting wiring, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing hazards, and ensuring safety standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
• Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
• Ability to complete projects independently from start to finish
• Experience with lighting control systems, conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
• Willingness to pass a drug screening

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

• Travel (20-30%) may be required
• Overtime and extended hours may be necessary
• Proficiency in aerial lift operation
