AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to manage and maintain electrical equipment, installations, and modifications in a healthcare environment. You will support painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, oversee repairs, troubleshoot machinery, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience (healthcare preferred), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years maintenance experience.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Driver's License required for field work.
• Must read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.
• Experience in healthcare maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical equipment per codes and regulations.

Job Description:

Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Other duties as assigned. Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, overseeing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures, under limited guidance. Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls in accordance with facility needs. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities. Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services. Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation.

Education:

• High school/equivalent grad or 5+ years experience [Required]

Field of Study:

Work Experience:

Licenses and Certifications:
