Job summary
Abbott in Sturgis, MI is seeking an Electrician II (2nd shift) to maintain and improve plant electrical systems, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in our Nutrition division.
You will work with electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, wiring, and preventive maintenance, supporting operations across packaging lines and facilities, with strong emphasis on compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED plus relevant electrician training.
- 3+ years' experience as an industrial or commercial electrician.
- Knowledge of NEC and electrical installation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment for safety, quality and productivity.
- Troubleshoot HVAC electrical systems, PLCs and control wiring.
- Install or rearrange equipment and perform routine PMs.
- Read schematics, follow safety rules and plant procedures.
- Possess strong communication with operations and supervision.
