Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks an Electrician 1 to support the Capitol Complex electrical systems, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, lighting, and controls. The position requires a PA journey-level electrician license, an active vehicle license, and willingness to work in Dauphin County.

Formación

• Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (commonwealth title) or four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted
• Must possess valid journey-level electrician license issued by the local PA jurisdiction (City of Harrisburg) and an active motor vehicle license

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, controls, and other electrical components
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of National Electrical Code standards
• Identify and correct power failures and short circuits using proper tools and procedures
• Operate volt-ohm-milliamp meters, amprobes, and meggers to complete assigned work
• Follow blueprints and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project flow
