Carpenter Technology in McBee, SC is seeking an Electrician to keep our facility and equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will develop and implement preventive maintenance, read system drawings, troubleshoot electro‑mechanical and furnace systems, and support PLC, HMI and motor drive equipment to minimize downtime while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Read and understand systems drawings.
Understand the plant lubrication system and the pipe, hydraulic, pumping, and pneumatic systems, and assist Mechanics as needed.
Test equipment prior to Production Operator use to ensure proper and safe operation.
Follow safety procedures, including wearing PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
