Stemmle Plumbing Repair Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to learn the electrical trade through hands-on training under experienced professionals in Midlothian, VA. The role offers growth into a long-term career within the electrical industry.

You will assist licensed electricians on residential, commercial, and industrial sites, learn to install and troubleshoot components, read blueprints, and follow safety regulations. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Learn to install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques and assist with diagnosing electrical issues.
• Complete other duties as assigned while gaining valuable on-the-job training.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.

• Complete other duties as assigned while gaining valuable on-the-job training.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre–employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
