Stemmle Plumbing Repair Inc. in MIDLOTHIAN, VA is seeking an Electrical Apprentice eager to learn the electrical trade from seasoned professionals and build a long‑term career in the electrical industry.

You will assist licensed electricians on residential, commercial, and industrial sites, learn to install wiring, panels, outlets, and NEC rules, and gain hands‑on training while following safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Learn to install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques and assist with diagnosing electrical issues.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Learn to install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.

• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques and assist with diagnosing electrical issues.
• Complete other duties as assigned while gaining valuable on‑the‑job training.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
