Position Overview:

The Electrician Helper assists electricians by performing tasks under supervision, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role involves learning and assisting with various electrical tasks and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Professional appearance and conduct
• OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Effective communication skills

Mandatory Hiring Requirements:

• References, Background Check, Drug Screening, Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with blueprint reading, conduit sizing, panel and transformer terminations, underground and overhead conduit installation, wiring, and equipment operation (training provided)
• Maintaining tools and work area safety and cleanliness

Position Requirements:

• Valid state driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior experience required

Working Conditions:

• Work in various weather conditions and at heights up to 90 feet
• Use of personal tools and protective equipment
• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Ability to identify wire colors, interpret schematics, operate tools and equipment safely
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
• Good vision and hearing, with or without correction
