Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our electrical engineering-focused teams. You will troubleshoot setups, perform repairs, fabricate components from various materials, and manage parts and tool inventories on a busy shop floor.

The role requires experience with electrical motors, welding, and basic electronics, plus the ability to read drawings and blueprints. You will also participate in safety programs (6S), install new equipment, and train team members as

Qualifications

• 40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years general maintenance experience.
• Qualified electrician and basic electronics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling, and malfunctions.
• Perform all repairs and adaptations of equipment, such as changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards.
• Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas.
• Build or fabricate devices to improve quality and production.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering.
• Manage maintenance supplies and maintain supply inventory.
• Order spare parts and supplies and rebuild machines as required.
• Routine electronic machine maintenance and upkeep.
• Replace electrical motors and components.
• Install new equipment.
• Design components and fabricate.
• Design and install guarding.
• Troubleshoot and replace electronic boards and digital and analog CNC drives.
• Basic Robotics
• Train team members
• Adhere to all safety requirements
