Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. in Nashville is seeking full-time Lead Electricians to join our expanding team. You will install electrical systems, read wiring diagrams, and assist in load-testing generator packages for power generation projects.

The role requires state licensure and prior electrical experience; a certification and HS diploma/GED are expected. We offer a competitive benefits package and a company truck after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State.
• Previous electrical experience required; some on-the-job training available.
• Certification and High School Diploma or GED are required.
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire electrical devices.
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot problems.
• Assist in load-testing generator packages and power equipment prep.
• Read and understand project specifications and codes.
• Ensure proper fabrication and installation of electrical systems.
• Use measuring and electrical testing equipment accurately.
• Promote safety and welfare within the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
• Assist in load-testing generator packages
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages
• Read wiring diagrams
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned
