Job summary

Generator Supercenter is seeking an experienced technician to install and wire electrical equipment for power generation projects. You will work with a team to pull wire, install conduits, test systems, and read wiring diagrams, contributing to turnkey installations.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of electrical/generator experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license. A positive, collaborative mindset and knowledge of the NEC are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years electrical/generator installation experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own hand tools required.
• Generator installation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, install conduit, install and wire up electrical devices, including ATS and load relay modules.
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems.
• Assist in load-testing generator packages.
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages.
• Read wiring diagrams.
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.).
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment.
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
