NSC Skilled Trades has an immediate need for experienced Electrician Fire Alarm Inspector Technician Seattle, WA

Job Details:

• 06 Electrical License **Required**
• NICET II Certification **Required**

• Location: Seattle, WA
• Pay: $65k to$100k
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 40 hours a week
• Length: Direct Hire
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Qualifications & Requirements

• Inspects, repairs and tests hardwired and wireless security and fire alarm control devices, switch panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment and components at assigned customer sites.
• Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network. Has a basic understanding of IPV4 and how to assign a computer an IP address.
• Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Records periodic electrical testing and recommends or initiates modifications or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
• Operates company vehicle to drive to client sites to perform installations and testing.
• Instruct customers on proper devise use and maintenance measures.
• Communicate directly with customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Record any needed repairs and report to service team.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Required Qualifications

• 06 Electrical License
• NICET II Certification
• Valid Drivers License
• Comfort and ease reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledge of WA fire safety codes & regulations
• Exemplary customer service skills

• Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Physical Requirements

• Drive a company vehicle.
• Sit while driving, reading panels and using a computer.
• Stand and walk to inspect and perform repairs.
• Use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards,
• Engage with customers over the phone and in-person by voice.
• Lift up to 20 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs
• Stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl and twist as needed.
• Able to see within normal limits
• Able to hear to communicate with other and hear ambient noise for safety purposes.
• Able to use small hand tools.
