Orbitform in Jackson, MI is seeking a Custom Machine Build Electrician to wire panels and assemble electrical systems for our custom machines. You will take part in startup, debugging, and customer run-offs, collaborating closely with senior builders to ensure reliable operation.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of wiring or servicing experience, ability to read drawings, and familiarity with common engineering tools. This is a full-time, on-site role with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of machine wiring or servicing experience.
• Ability to read mechanical assembly and controls drawings.
• Solid grasp of mechanical and electrical machine operations with basic troubleshooting chops.

Responsibilities

• Wire panels and machines from the ground up.
• Perform electrical assembly on standard and custom machines.
• Bring machines to life: start-up, debug issues, and assist with customer run-offs.
• Team up with senior machine builders on the electrical side of builds.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on improvements to reduce defects.
• Maintain quality to ensure machines perform after delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for new builds and corrective actions.
• Work safely and look out for teammates.
