Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Five years of experience as an electrician in the industrial capital equipment or special machine builder industry.
• Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to lead a team of electricians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical assembly build efforts within a computer-controlled mechanical system.
• Supervise and guide electrical technicians and apprentices.
• Read and interpret complex drawings and schematics; select proper materials.
• Panel wiring, machine wiring, debugging and installation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards.
• Layout component locations on panels and enclosures; drill and tap as required.
• Test electrical systems and measure continuity with meters and scopes.
• Maintain documentation of actions and issues across shifts.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement necessary changes.
