Job summary

Edgewater Automation, LLC is seeking a Lead Electrical Assembly Technician to coordinate the electrical build process for custom automation systems. You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices, read complex schematics, and ensure safe, precise panel and wiring work.

You will lay out components, test circuits with meters and scopes, and ensure quality in assembly and installation across automotive, aerospace, and medical equipment sectors. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Solid background in blue print reading, electrical schematics, machine assembly, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical assembly build process.
• Supervise technicians and apprentices during installation and testing.
• Read schematics and test procedures; ensure correct materials and safety compliance.
• Layout component locations on panels and enclosures; drill and tap as needed.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with meters and scopes; verify safety and compatibility.
