Job summary

TIC Inc in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced electrical installer/maintainer to plan, lay out, install and test wiring, fixtures, motors, and control systems. You will follow plans and industry codes, work with high and low voltage systems, and repair equipment as needed.

The role requires an intermediate level of experience, physical capability to climb and work in confined spaces, and the ability to work overtime, nights, or weekends as workload demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or related experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, plans and determine procedures and tools for troubleshooting and repair.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit; install cable and duct banks.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test and startup systems to ensure electrical safety and compatibility.
• Observe equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments or replacements.
• Pull wires, connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment as needed.
• Work with high and low voltage systems and perform repairs.
