Job summary

Limiting Factor Group is seeking an Electrician to install, test and repair electrical systems for data center sites, both at new construction and live facilities. You will work from drawings and diagrams, with emphasis on safe procedures and efficient, reliable power distribution.

The role requires a state-certified journeyman electrician, 4+ years in commercial/industrial electrical work, NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certifications, and owning your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Current journeyman electrician certification for the state where the work is performed (Washington or California).
• 4+ years of commercial or industrial electrical work.
• NFPA 70E training and OSHA 10 certification.
• Own hand tools.

Responsibilities

Job description

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. We are engaging an Electrician to install, test and repair electrical systems during construction and operation of our data center sites. The work covers power distribution from switchgear to the rack, on both new construction and live facilities.

What you will do

• Install, terminate and test conduit, cable, panels, switchgear, power distribution units, busway and grounding.
• Work from electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Assist with equipment startup, testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
• Carry out work in live facilities under approved written procedures.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and NFPA 70E safe work practices.
• Record completed work and mark up drawings to show what was built.

Required qualifications

• Current journeyman electrician certification for the state where the work is performed (Washington or California).
• 4 or more years of commercial or industrial electrical work.
• NFPA 70E training and OSHA 10 certification.
• Own hand tools.

Preferred qualifications

• Data center or other critical facility experience.
• Medium-voltage experience.

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
• Must be willing to travel to other LFG locations
• On site at construction sites and operating facilities
• Standing, climbing ladders, working at heights and in tight spaces
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing protective equipment
• Some night or weekend work to avoid disrupting live systems

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:
$65.00 - $100.00 per hour
