About The Role

As a CBREElectrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electricalequipment in assigned facilities. This job is part of the Engineering andTechnical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support,preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee electricaland lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform newinstallations of equipment.
• Check, repair, andreplace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includesvalves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors,condensers, cores, and pipes.
• Assure thatequipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
• Review historicalmaintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventivemaintenance schedules.
• Provide efficientand reliable service to customers.
• Apply generalknowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplishassigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Have a broadknowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplineswithin the function.
• Lead by exampleand model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince toreach an agreement.
• Impact the qualityof own work and the work of others on the team.
• Work primarilywithin standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meetdeadlines.

What You’ll Need

• High SchoolDiploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
• Master Electricianlicense required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's licenserequired.
• Meet the physicalrequirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbingstairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• In-depth knowledgeof Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complexproblems.
• Ability to analyzepossible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment andprecedents.
• Strongorganizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced mathskills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediatefigures such as percentages discounts and commissions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Electrician position is $70,000 annually [or $33.65 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Electrician position is $80,000 annually [or $38.46 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
