Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support licensed electricians on industrial construction projects in Chandler, AZ. You will learn hands-on electrical work while developing skills for a future journeyman career.

Responsibilities include materials handling, conduit bending, wiring, lighting installations, and safety compliance, with travel to job sites and work at heights. Strong work ethic and safety attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must own and bring required hand tools to the job.
• Must apply for and maintain an Electrical Apprentice License.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians by handling materials, prepping work areas, and supporting installations under supervision.
• Perform conduit bending and help install switchgear, panels, starters, and other electrical equipment.
• Pull, route, and terminate electrical wire across job sites.
• Install lighting fixtures, controls, and electrical devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems with guidance from supervising electricians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard awareness.
• Read and understand safety rules, MSDS, and site policies.
