Job summary

Zekelman Industries is hiring a Journeyman Electrician for our Chandler, AZ operations. The role uses NEC standards to install, test and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.

You will read blueprints, prepare work sites, and travel to various locations as needed. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commercial electrician experience, a valid Journeyman license, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician.
Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Able to work 8–10 hours per day, 40+ hours per week with overtime.
Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

Installs, assembles, maintains, and tests electrical wiring and equipment in commercial/industrial settings.
Prepares job sites, secures work areas, and maintains clean workspaces.
Reads blueprints and schematics to install systems per specifications.
Connects wiring per NEC code and standards; uses hydraulic benders, threaders, and related tools.
Ensures accurate conduit installation, dimensions, and clearances.
Travels to job sites as required, including out-of-state locations.
