Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking an Electrician Helper/Apprentice in Roanoke to support commercial projects across the New River Valley. You will learn installing electrical systems, follow safety protocols, and assist with material handling on K-12, university, and healthcare sites.

Ideal candidates show a strong interest in the trade, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift and work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interest in the trade and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electrical mechanics with installing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Gather, deliver, and organize materials at job sites.
• Read a tape measure, use hand tools, and work from heights or in cramped spaces.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
