Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support installation on electrical projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. The role focuses on hands-on wiring, conduit work, and coordination with the project team.

You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, install EMT conduit, terminate panels, mentor helpers, and ensure safety compliance. Moores is ESOP-owned with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational school or prior training preferred.
• Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to read and follow instructions; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the electrical trade and field installation.
• Cutting, bending, threading and installing EMT conduit.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Hooking up/terminating electrical panels and fixtures.
• Mentor helpers and apprentices on-site.
• Ensure safety and compliance on all tasks.
