Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an Electrician A.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferably Journeyman or Electrical Certification.

Experience

• Over 5 years in an industrial environment.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Skills

• Proficiency in advanced shop mathematics.
• Ability to work from complex drawings, specifications, and sketches.
• Knowledge of electrical fundamentals, code requirements for wiring and installation.
• Experience with all types of precision measuring equipment.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Solid computer skills (email, Excel, Oracle).
• Detail-oriented with decision-making, planning, and fault detection abilities.

Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Wiring circuits as directed.
• Receiving instructions from supervisors and working from wiring diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
• Troubleshooting and repairing using electrical testing instruments.
• Handling sensors, control circuits, motors, drives, power transmission, packing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Installing and maintaining complex automatic controls.
• Responding to emergency power failures and diagnosing issues.
• Preparing wiring diagrams and providing training to lower classification Electricians.

Additional Responsibilities

• Fabrication tasks including guarding, control panel mounting, and reporting faulty equipment.
• Following all safety policies and performing safety inspections.

Position Details

• Full-time position.
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
• Location: Lancaster, PA.
