Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with and knowledge of the National Electric Code
• 3-4 years of manufacturing experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial skills, as well as demonstrated PLC experience (strongly preferred)
• Candidates must be available to work all shifts, including second, third, weekends, and holidays

• Journeyman Electricians will receive an additional bonus of $1.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

• Third Shift (10PM – 6:30AM), Monday – Friday, + $2.00 shift differential
• Ability to work all shifts as required by training needs
• Overtime on Saturdays and Sundays as needed

Plant Overview:

• Approximately 300 employees
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities based on business needs and seniority
• Union plant, represented by UFCW Local 705
• Products include Vinegar, BBQ Sauces, Relish, Pickles, Mustard
• The Holland plant, operating since 1897, is known as the “pickle factory,” but currently only 5% of production is pickles. In 2016, grey poupon mills were installed to produce mustard.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and blueprints
• Properly size wire runs, bend, and install conduit for new electrical installations
• Use hand tools, shop tools, and test equipment to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems
• Design, program, install, and repair PLC/control systems
• Install and program Frequency drives
• Modify existing PLC and control systems for better functionality and efficiency
• Provide technical support for maintenance, communication, network, and electrical systems
• Perform setup, start-up, and changeover procedures
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Complete observations and training as scheduled
• Support Plant Quality Systems
• Adhere to FSQ requirements, GMPs, and other duties to support QRMP
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or team leader
