Job summary

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, is seeking personnel for 2nd shift to install switchgear, wire/control systems, and support apprentices in a fast-paced environment. The role requires reading schematics, following safety standards, and maintaining equipment performance.

You will collaborate with Electrical Lead or Supervisor to ensure quality workmanship, comply with industry codes, and deliver reliable solutions for data center equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of college/vocational training preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and certifications.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse environments.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Able to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Professional and tactful interaction at all times.

Responsibilities

• Install switchgear and related electrical components.
• Perform rough and finish wiring and control system work.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical circuits and devices.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints and diagrams.
• Instruct and coach apprentices as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in tech and safety standards.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Support other tasks as assigned.
