A leading company is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for its operations in Illinois. The role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates must possess a high school diploma, Journeyman certification, and relevant experience, including expertise in 3-phase motors and PLC systems.
Reads and interprets drawings, sketches, and layouts.
Performs layout, installs, and maintains a variety of electrical equipment such as motors, lighting circuits, starters, generators, transformers, or other electrical apparatus necessary for plant operation.
Handles all work related to changing electrical drives.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and removes materials and equipment from the job site.
Checks output on DC controllers and replaces printed circuit boards when needed.
Checks filter timers and replaces timers as necessary.
Installs all wiring to and between electric and electronic equipment.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
This position is on 2nd shift, starting at 3:00 PM and ending at 11:00 PM. Overtime, including weekends, is required. The hourly pay includes a 2nd shift differential, and Bunge offers a competitive benefits package including a defined benefit pension plan paid for by Bunge.
