Job summary

Domtar in West Carrollton, Ohio, is seeking an Electrician for a full-time permanent role. The position focuses on maintaining and improving production electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation across our manufacturing lines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an Industrial Electrician with PLC experience and Journeyman Card preferred. You will perform preventive maintenance, install and calibrate control systems, and troubleshoot equipment in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

The location in West Carrollton, (Ohio, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrician. This job is full-time permanent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production related equipment to ensure proper and safe operation of all production systems.
• Install new electrical control systems and maintain existing control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines in an industrial setting, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Design, layout, program and calibrate new equipment and installations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $39.12 to $41.43
• Vacation: Up to 4 weeks' vacation depending on experience.
• Required Experience: PLC experience preferred. 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Journeyman Card Preferred.
