Job description

Overview

The role of the Electrician and RUPS/SUPS technician is to ensure the proper and safe operation and maintenance of the complex electrical systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Must be on-site during assigned hours.
• Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical power distribution systems.
• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems.
• Perform certification testing.
• Ensure facility code compliance with Federal, State, and Local safety and health standards.

All Shifts: 7am - 3pm (SUN-THU) or (TUE-SAT) or (FRI-TUE)

Salary: $52.70 per hour

Qualifications

• Possess a Journeyman commercial/industrial license issued by a State or other accredited board.
• Must possess at least four years of Journeyman Level experience (obtained within the past seven years) performing inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, operating, and preventive maintenance on complex electrical power distribution systems.
• Possess accreditation by the National Electrical Testing Association (NETA).
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in building operations.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a professional demeanor.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
