Responsibilities

The Electrician shall serve as CBS's lead on all related electrical preventative maintenance tasks, service calls, and repair initiatives. The Electrician will perform the following:

• General operations, maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems and components
• Coordinate with specialty sub-contractors to perform high voltage testing and apply trade skills as necessary
• Install, maintain and repair electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems
• Supports Engineers and Utilty Mechanics when they perform certain electrical specific tasks
• Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
• Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems.
• Perform Certification testing
• Facility Code Compliance (assure compliance with Federal, State and Local safety and health standards.

All Shifts 7am - 3pm, (SUN - THU) or (TUE - SAT) or (FRI - TUE)

Salary: $52.70 per hour

Qualifications

• Possess a Journeyman commercial/industrial license issued by a State or other accredited board.
• Must possess at least (4) four years of Journeyman Level experience (obtained within the past 7 years) performing inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, operating and performing preventive maintenance on complex electrical power distribution systems
• Possess accreditation by National Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
