Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow the guidance and direction from lead and senior SME’s.
• Remove, replace, adjust, and/or install equipment racks, power panels, and various aircraft components/assemblies and closures.
• Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems.
• Perform wire routing and wire terminations.
• Perform soldering.
• Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems.
• Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan, or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number, and three-point location.
• Obtain and verify detail parts, standards, and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects.
• Perform lock out tag out, try out equipment for safety.
• Demonstrate a safe work ethic.
• Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Minimum one year of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems.
• Minimum one year of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift: This position is for 2nd shift.

Additional Information: This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
