The Association of Village Council Presidents is seeking an Electrician to support Facilities on temporary assignments. Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with Alaska Standard Codes on residential or public buildings.
The role reports to the Department Director and requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of direct experience (5+ for journeyman). Valid driver’s license and PPE familiarity are required.

High school diploma or GED required. Two(2) or more years of direct experience is required. To work in public or commercial buildings, the employee must have five (5) years of experience or be at the journeyman level. If driving a company vehicle, must have a current driver's license with a good driving record to be added to the AVCP vehicle insurance. Must be familiar with and use Personal Protections Equipment (PPE).
