The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, coordination with sub-contractors, and on-site emergency response.

Requirements include a Journeyman license, 4+ years of journeyman experience, NETA accreditation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a Journeyman commercial/industrial license.
• At least four years of journeyman level experience in inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex power distribution systems.
• NETA accreditation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and detail oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair power distribution systems.
• Respond to on-site emergencies.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate with specialty sub-contractors for high voltage testing.
• Support Engineers and Utility Mechanics on electrical tasks.
• Ensure facility code compliance with safety standards.
• Perform Certification testing.

Job description

The Electrician shall serve as CBS's lead on all related electrical preventative maintenance tasks, service calls, and repair initiatives. The Electrician will perform the following

• General operations, maintenance installation, and repair of electrical systems and components
• Coordinate with specialty sub-contractors to perform high voltage testing and apply trade skills as necessary
• Install, maintain and repair electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems
• Supports Engineers and Utilty Mechanics when they perform certain electrical specific tasks
• Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
• Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems.
• Perform Certification testing
• Facility Code Compliance (assure compliance with Federal, State and Local safety and health standards.
  

All Shifts Day Shift. (Monday - Friday and Weekends)
Salary $52.70 per hour

• Possess a Journeyman commercial/industrial license issued by a State or other accredited board.
• Must possess at least (4) four years of Journeyman Level experience (obtained within the past 7 years) performing inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, operating and performing preventive maintenance on complex electrical power distribution systems
• Possess accreditation by National Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a professional demeanor
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
