Great Escape Parks seeks a skilled electrician to repair and maintain resort electrical and ride control systems, install new equipment, and keep preventative maintenance logs. Candidates should have three years of electrical experience or a completed apprenticeship and be capable of working in all weather conditions on indoor and outdoor sites.

Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred, with ability to read blueprints and follow complex work orders.

Formación

• Must have three years of professional electrical experience or complete an apprenticeship.
• Ability to program Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred.
• Understand electrical procedures and building systems.
• Able to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
• Must have NY State driver's license and valid reading/writing skills.
• Capable of working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and work safely.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and maintain a variety of electrical systems in facilities and outdoor areas.
• Work with a crew to perform electrical work and installations up to 480 volts.
• Interpret work orders and determine tools and supplies needed.
• Install new electrical systems per work order specifications.
• Maintain preventative maintenance logs for equipment and systems.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in maintenance and construction as needed.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and interpret layouts.

JOB SUMMARY: Perform a variety of electrical tasks to repair and maintain Resort electrical and Ride control systems and install new electrical systems and equipment using standard electrical methods. Maintain preventative maintenance logs on the appropriate equipment/systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Repair and maintain a variety of electrical systems including replacement of wires, circuits, lighting, transformers, switches, in facilities and outdoor areas using standard electrical and construction methods.
• Work as part of assigned crew performing electrical work to facilitate repairs and installation up to 480
• Interpret and follow written work orders and/or verbal instructions in order to complete
• Determine tools and supplies needed for each work Gather tools and supplies needed prior to proceeding to each work site. Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete work assignments.
• Install new electrical systems as Determine materials to be used and placement of electrical panels, switches, outlets, fixtures, etc. and install systems per work order specifications.
• Work assignments will include ditch digging, trouble shooting, shop and area clean up, driving company vehicles and equipment,
• Participate in emergency procedures regarding flooding, wind storms, utility outages, earthquakes and hazardous waste
• Adhere to all departmental and company safety Wear appropriate safety equipment as required.
• Use two-way radio to communicate with other staff
• On a rotating basis, staff weekend
• Assist in other Maintenance and Construction areas as
• Use PLC knowledge to install, maintain, trouble shoot and modify as requested all ride control systems
• Other duties as

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess three years prior professional experience in electrical work and/or the completion of an apprenticeship
• Ability to program Allen-Bradley PLC's preferred
• Must possess a thorough operational understanding of electrical procedures and
• Must possess a working knowledge of building
• Must possess a working knowledge of the use of hand and power tools and large power equipment used in the electrical
• Must possess a working knowledge of electrical
• Must be able to read, write and understand
• Must possess a NY State valid driver's
• Must be able to follow oral and written
• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and interpret rough layouts or
• Must possess basic math skills and be able to perform electrical
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties. Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push and pull and lift and carry a minimum of 70 Must be able to reach overhead. Must not be afraid of heights.
• Must be able to work in excess of 150 which will include but not limited to roller coasters.
