Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a qualified electrician to perform inspections and repair of electrical equipment including rides and park facilities. This is a full-time hourly position with a pay range of $25.54/hr-$35.34/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities include repairing electrical and electronic equipment, analyzing malfunctions, and maintaining ride structures and event power needs.

Qualifications

• State Journeyman’s license preferred.
• Experience with theme park rides is a plus.
• Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment using PLCs and relays.
• Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Able to stand/walk outdoors in heat/cold and sun for long periods.
• Capable of carrying tools and lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights over 50 ft.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair electrical and electronic equipment
• Analyze equipment malfunctions to determine cause and corrective action
• Access all areas of ride structures for inspections and maintenance
• Install adequate temporary and/or permanent power for events and festivals throughout the season
• Assist with various electrical needs for new construction and remodeling projects as assigned
• Climb stairs or ladders to heights over 50ft while carrying tools and equipment and be able to use them
• Maintain positive interaction with other employees and guests
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications
