Job summary

Revolution Company in Stuttgart, AR is seeking an Industrial Electrician to keep all equipment operating through preventive and corrective maintenance and to document all repairs.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree (preferred) and at least two years of industrial electrical experience, be able to read wiring diagrams, follow safety procedures, and work with minimal supervision. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Knowledge of automated equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical devices, motor starters, relays, contractors, etc.
• Use electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and trace circuitry.
• Advises supervisor on job progress and material/labor requirements.
• Read and design drawings and wiring diagrams.

Job description

Revolution is now hiring for an Industrial Electrician position in Stuttgart, AR. This role will be responsible for keeping all equipment operating through preventive and as-needed maintenance and documenting all repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Ensure all safety and precautionary measures are met by adhering to company policy and state and federal regulations.
• Installs, inspects, tests, operates, and repairs of all electrical switchgear systems, branch circuits, power distribution wiring, electrical equipment, fixtures, and conduit.
• Must be able to troubleshoot lighting control systems and related components.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical devices, motor starters, relays, contractors, etc.
• Must be able to use a variety of electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot, test, and trace circuitry.
• Advises the supervisor on job progress and material/ labor requirements.
• Works with departments to plan and complete tasking.
• The ability to read, design drawings, and wiring diagrams required.
• Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
• Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
• Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running
• Maintains accounts for tools used.
• All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to perform work without supervision.
• Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Essential reading and writing skills.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Climbing stairs and working from secured platforms.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions.
• Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
