Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
  • Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and compliance with policy and regulations.
  • Install, inspect, test, operate, and repair electrical switchgear, wiring, and conduit.
  • Troubleshoot lighting control systems and related components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical devices, motor starters, relays, contractors.
  • Use electrical testing equipment to trace circuitry and document repairs.
  • Advise supervisor on progress and material/labor needs.
  • Read drawings and wiring diagrams; complete maintenance as scheduled.
  • Respond to emergency repairs and maintain inventory of tools.

Associate's degree in industrial Electronics or similar field

Job description

Revolution is now hiring for a Night-Shift Industrial Electrician position in Mesquite, TX. This role will be responsible for keeping all equipment operating through preventive and as-needed maintenance and documenting all repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

  • Ensure all safety and precautionary measures are met by adhering to company policy and state and federal regulations.
  • Installs, inspects, tests, operates, and repairs of all electrical switchgear systems, branch circuits, power distribution wiring, electrical equipment, fixtures, and conduit.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot lighting control systems and related components.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical devices, motor starters, relays, contractors, etc.
  • Must be able to use a variety of electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot, test, and trace circuitry.
  • Advises the supervisor on job progress and material/ labor requirements.
  • Works with departments to plan and complete tasking.
  • The ability to read, design drawings, and wiring diagrams required.
  • Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
  • Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
  • Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running
  • Maintains accounts for tools used.
  • All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in industrial Electronics or similar field. (preferred)
  • Minimum two years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
  • Ability to perform work without supervision.
  • Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
  • Essential reading and writing skills.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Climbing stairs and working from secured platforms.
  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions.
  • Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Spanish).
